2013 13U Joint Jonestown/ Fredericksburg Fall Ball Preview 

When: July 17  Game on Thursday July 18

Time:  Wednesday night Practice 6-8pm at the Fredericksburg Legion
Game Thursday between Fredericksburg and Jonestown 13U kids  7pm under the lights.

Where: Fredericksburg Legion Post 915 on the Corner of Legionnaire Drive and 22


Description; Coach Fager and Voight would like to invite 12 and 13 year olds for a time to experience a major league ball field in preparation for the Fall Ball season.  Simply arrive at hte field at 6 and we will conduct some drills and have some fun.

Youth participating will recieve a free hot dog at the game on Thursday.

 For this week we will meet at 530 on the macadem plan to dress appropriately and plan to sprint. We need to get some speed times.  See you all then.

Happy New Year! Time to think baseball once again

Folks,

I am sending this to you since to keep you in the loop of the Spring Baseball logistics.  Many have asked about winter opportunities. There is one coming up this weekend.  Unfortunately, I will be with my family  whom are exhibiting at the Farm Show and cannot participate. If you would like to attend this training please contact Mr Bob Seltzer at 1-610-704-4756. He is taking Zach. You should call today to reserve your spot it is $75.00.

There are also numerous other opportunities weekly in the region I have listed Berkshires below.

 We are in the process of fixing the green shed with nets and moving lights so that we can begin batting and pitching sometime later in Jan or early Feb.  Once Glenn Weaver gets the lights moved we I will get it set up and send a note out.

From Fall ball I had recommended to many of you to stay fit and enter track or other events to run and work on speed. Please continue that workout.I will be conducting a speed test along with ball handling hitting and throwing as in the past.

As we move toward spring I will be getting with the H.S coach to determine when his schedules are to try to avoid any logistic issues. Our League will be setting our schedule for games in two weeks and I hope to have those arrangements in place by March.

Also FYI 

I was encouraged to follow the H.S rules pertaining to sports so if grades make you ineligible for school sports this must apply to the legion as well so keep them up.
