Participants:

Tournament Format – Double Elimination(guaranteed two games) Brackets will be evenly split. If less than 10 teams in tourny 3 way round robins will occur.  
  1. Rosters- 18 player Teener/Legion Roster
    1. Teener Teams must be the League Roster for Teeners.
    2. Legion Teams must be the League Roster for Legion.
  2. Field Directors will be at each game site.
  3. Scoring - The winning team is the official scorer for that game.. The winning team must hand in the official score sheet to the Field Director immediately following the conclusion of their game.
  4. Entrance Fee is non-refundable.
  5. Rules - Major League rules apply except for where the following amendments override:
    1. Bats – Players are allowed to use wood composite bats and bamboo bats; however, wood-metal bats are not permitted.  NO BBC or BESR
  6. Ejections:
    1. Any manager, coach or player who is ejected from the game must sit out the remainder of the game as well as the next scheduled game of the event.
    2. Any manager, coach player or fan that is ejected from the game, must leave the park immediately (dugout, bench & seating area). Failure to do so will result in his team’s forfeiture of the game.
    3. If the same manager, coach or player is ejected a second time from the same event he will not be allowed to participate in the remainder of the event.
    4. The tournament/league director reserves the right to suspend or bar any individual and/or team associated with the individual from future play in the event or future events, depending on the severity of the offense or for repeat offenses.
  7. Tobacco Use:
    1. Adult - – Discretionary tobacco use is permitted.
  8. Game Length:
    1. 7 innings.
      1. A 10-run rule will be in effect for all games after 4-1/2 innings.
      2. Games called due to darkness or rain after the 1st inning are official as played. Games called prior to the completion of the 1st inning will be suspended and resumed at the exact point in which play was suspended.
  9. Time Limits:
    1. There will be a two hour 15 minutes, time limit games. The clock starts when the first pitch hits the catcher's mitt or the batters bat. No inning may start after the two hour, 15 minute time limit has expired. Any inning that is in progress when the game has reached the two hour, 15 minute time limit will be completed. All games that are ended via the time limit are official as played, regardless of what inning the game is in at the conclusion of the time limit. Games that are tied after the two hour, 15 minute time limit, will remain as a tie in the tournament standings, teams will receive two (2) points for a win and one (1) point for a tie.   There is no time limit in "elimination round" or championship round games. Those games will be played until a winner is determined.
  10. Umpires may call for speed-up rules at any point in the game. Speed-up rules consist of five warm-up pitches between innings and returning the ball directly back to pitcher after an out.
  11. Courtesy runners may be used for both the pitcher and catcher at any time during an inning. The courtesy runner must not be currently in the game. In the event a team only has 9 players (or 10 if said team is using an EH), the player who made the last recorded out must be the courtesy runner.
  12. Batting Line-up/number of players:
      1. Teams may choose to bat a 9-man, 10-man or entire team batting order. Both a DH and/or an EH may be used. The DH can be used for any player in the line-up. If a team begins a game batting 10 or more players, they must finish the game batting the same amount of players as they started the game with. However, in the event of an injury where a player can no longer participate in the game and no substitutes are available, that player’s position in the batting order will be skipped without penalty. In the event that a player is ejected from the game, and no substitutes are available, an out will be awarded to the opposing team each time said player’s position comes up in the batting order. (See rule #11 regarding further ejection penalties.)
  13. Infield and outfield practice is not permitted after the first game of the day.
  14. Starting players may re-enter the game one time in the same position in the batting order as he had previously been in.
    1. In the event of an injury only and all legal substitutes have been entered into the game, a starting player may then re-enter the game in the injured players batting position even if that was not his original batting position without penalty.
    2. In the event of an injury where a player can no longer participate in the game and the team only has nine players available (or was 10 with an EH or the entire order), that players position in the batting order can be skipped without penalty. Once a player leaves the game due to an injury and no substitutes are available, the player that left the game cannot return in that same game.
      1. In the event that a player is ejected from the game, and no substitutes are available, an out will be awarded to the opposing team each time said player’s position comes up in the batting order. A starting player MAY NOT re-enter the game in a batting position other than the one he was originally in to replace an ejected player. (See rule #11 regarding further ejection penalties.)
    3. Teams are permitted to complete a game with eight players.
  15. Home team is decided by a coin toss in all games.
  16. Any base-runner who does not slide or avoid contact with a fielder will be called out with the possibility of ejection, if the umpire deems necessary.
  17. The field director(s) will rule on any point not covered in these amendments and rules.
  18. Decisions by the field director are final.
  19. Fans are not permitted in the dugouts or bench area.
  20. Bat Boys/Girls must wear a protective helmet at all times.
    1. Adult base coaches are not required to wear a protective helmet when coaching on the base lines, however, if a player under the age of 18 is coaching a base, they are required to wear a full double ear flap helmet while coaching said base.
  21. Game balls will be supplied by, and must be returned to, the field director.
  22. Spikes:
    1. Metal spikes are permitted.
  23. Protests - The protesting manager must notify the umpire in chief of the protest before any pitch or play begins following the protested call. A fifty ($50.00) dollar cash protest fee must be presented at that time. Then the field director along with the protesting manager will look up the rule allegedly broken. If the protest is granted, the protest fee is returned in full. If the protest is denied, the protest fee is forfeited in full. No games will be played under protest.
  24. Forfeits - There will be a one hundred ($100.00) dollar forfeit fee billed to any team who willingly forfeits a bracket game throughout the tournament.
  25. Awards – First team placing will receive neck pendants for the event success.
